The opportunity

We are seeking to fill two Internal Services Associate positions within our Pension Division. This opportunity includes records administration, reception services, telephone operation, and document imaging, quality control, and data capture verification. The incumbents are required to maintain a high level of multi-tasking and the ability to switch focus within these key areas, along with managing competing priorities and deadlines.

What you need to be successful

  • Grade 12 plus 4 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable. Related experience must include records management duties and work in a customer-focused environment, ideally in the area of reception or switchboard.
  • Successful completion of an office administration, business technology and/or records management training course is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Proficiency in working with electronic records management and document imaging software and hardware would be an asset.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must demonstrate initiative, maintain confidentiality, have strong organizational skills and be able to work under the pressure of demanding work volumes.
  • Must have well developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to log and file both alpha and numeric data effectively and efficiently.

Job Status: Permanent Full Time, Unionized (NSGEU)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 35-hour work week

Salary Range: $1866.45 - $2082.83 (bi-weekly)

Closing Date: July 3rd, 2024

Interview Dates: Panel interviews for those candidates selected to move forward will take place the week of July 22nd or 29th
