OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Mariner is actively recruiting for a Senior SAP Business Analyst (Process and Testing) to be a key leader in our IT Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers.

You are passionate about customer experience and are not afraid to ask the hard questions and challenge the status quo to deliver the right solution. You can balance your love of detailed analysis with your drive to meet deadlines and can guide the process from idea through to the testing phase.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Maintain Business Process Hierarchy (BPH) in Solution Manager and ensure alignment with Azure DevOps.
  • Revise existing process models and create new S/4 HANA process models.
  • Participate in functional area scrum meetings.
  • Maintain business process expertise for assigned functional areas.
  • Identify and prioritize changes required for BPH.
  • Adhere to S/4 HANA process modeling standards.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining process models for Open Text, GRC, and SAC, when applicable.
  • Identify functional interdependencies, when applicable.
  • Support business leads and specialists in respective process areas.
  • Analyze as-is processes and interfaces to discover process gaps.
  • Identify functional interdependencies and improvement potentials.
  • Keep abreast of SAP trends and innovations impacting deployment in respective process areas.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP project delivery or as an SAP business analyst.
  • Experience working in an agile IT project environment.
  • Knowledge of integration points within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of the differences between ECC and S/4 HANA system process modeling, as well as Business Process Modeling Notation and standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • S/4HANA certifications in one or more functional areas or technologies.
  • Experience with SAP architecture.
  • Knowledge of three or more SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Funds Management, Procurement/Ariba, Inventory Management, Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management, GRC).
  • Experience with process management in Solution Manager.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as project management, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, and change management (PROSCI).
