Forklift Operator - Seasonal

This position will include Shift Work.

Oxford Frozen Foods is searching for Forklift Operators for various locations across the facility in Oxford, NS.

• Pallet Pile Forklift Operator
• Production Forklift Operator
• Receiving Forklift Operator
• Shipping Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently, operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials and products within the warehouse or production facility.
• Load and unload goods from trucks or storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues or malfunctions immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials are stored in designated locations and pathways are clear of obstructions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating a Forklift is a requirement

• Ability to prioritize daily tasks
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Follow company policies and procedures and work in a safe manner
• Must be able to work rotating shifts
• Must be able to work with products including but not limited to onions and wheat
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi task
• Security minded
• Time management
