OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Senior Power Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing BI solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power BI and Tableau. This role requires a deep understanding of data integration, DAX, data modeling, and report/dashboard creation to support business decision-making processes.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

• Design, develop, and deploy business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
• Create, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and user experience.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources into Power BI and Tableau.
• Develop and optimize data models and datasets within Power BI and Tableau.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all BI solutions.
• Manage BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcome.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Proven experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Experience with Tableau, including creating dashboards, data visualizations, and integrating various data sources.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with other BI tools and technologies (e.g., SSRS, SSAS) is a plus.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and proficient experience with Power Query.
• Experience with data management, database administration and common data interfaces/API.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
