Job Summary
This position provides confidential administrative support to the Senior Operations Manager of Long-Term Care Facilities.
Duties include, but are not limited to: general management of administrative office; prioritizing work and schedules; drafting/typing correspondence/reports of a confidential nature and other necessary documents; coordinating/attending meetings; recording and transcribing minutes; preparing and distributing agendas, minutes and other related information; preparing presentations; obtaining information for the completion of a variety of reports and other documents; organizing and maintaining a filing system; completing payroll functions and other duties as required. This individual will interact and liaise with various internal/external stakeholders such as health professionals, local agencies/organizations, residents, families, volunteers, union leaders, regulatory authorities, professional associations, and others as required.

Regularly lifts objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
Requires sustained standing and walking within the mass clinic environment and requires bending, stretching, etc., to pack, transport and retrieve supplies.
Constantly performs repetitive fine motor skills when sitting and using a computer and mouse for typing, when in the office setting. Regularly to constantly uses bilateral, repetitive fine finger/precision work (i.e. typing/ mousing) on the computer (seated at a workstation).
Job Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year Office Administration program OR completion of a one-year Office Administration program from an approved/recognized college supplemented by two years' experience within the last four in a progressively responsible clerical role is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
* Proof of a current office administration program is required. To be considered current, they must have been completed within the last five years, unless it has been used in recent positions. This must be demonstrated on the application form.
