PLATO is Canada's only Indigenous-led, Indigenous-staffed software testing services firm. We are committed to building strong communities - PLATO trains and employs members of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit communities across the country and strives to build a network of 1000 Indigenous software testers across Canada. PLATO has offices on or near Indigenous communities across Canada, in Fredericton, Miramichi, Sault Ste Marie, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Victoria.
The Training Program Coordinator will be responsible for organizing programs and activities for PLATO testing in a number of key areas including logistics, planning, and recruitment support.
- Serves as the initial contact for general inquiries regarding PLATO's Training Program
- Manages the candidate and student databases
- Manages the candidate intake, interview, and acceptance process
- Serves as the connection between students and funding organizations
- Tracks internal and external funding to students
- Tracks performance measures
- Provides administrative support as required
- Minimum three years' experience working in an administrative or program management role
- Experience working with Indigenous people and/or organizations
- Experience with database management as well as writing internal and external communications
