As a Software Developer with BioScript Solutions, you will work with a collaborative team to build and implement creative technology solutions that positively impact our Patient and Partner experience.
The Software Developer reports to our Technology Delivery Manager and is part of a highly engaged team of talented Developers, Quality Analysts, Product Owners and Business Analysts.
How you will make an impact
- Full lifecycle application development;
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages;
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions;
- Technical documentation as required;
- Investigate, analyze and resolve reported defects;
- Developing unit tests;
- Software testing and quality assurance;
- Investigating new technologies.
What you'll bring to our team
- Demonstrable software development experience including having worked on at least one major enterprise application through the full SDLC;
- Formal education in software development or equivalent work experience;
- 2+ years experience with C#;
- Working experience with ASP.Net and MVC;
- Strong knowledge of SQL;
- Knowledge of REST API design and consumption;
- Experience with JavaScript, WPF, Entity Framework, unit testing will all be considered an asset;
- Experience with Xunit or other testing frameworks will be considered an asset;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an Agile Scrum team and with internal stakeholders;
- A strong sense of accountability and ability to self-organize;
- Experience with data migrations is a strong asset.
