We are currently hiring for a Lawyer. This regular opportunity, in the Governance and Human Resources Department, has full time hours.
As a Lawyer, you will:
- Provide legal advice, consultation and lead a variety of corporate legal processes.
- Ensure all dealings of Halifax Water are complying with all relevant levels of legislation, regulations, and internal policy.
- Ensure avoidance of any possible legal risk and/or violations.
To do this job, you need to have:
- An LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized common law school.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a practicing lawyer.
- Membership or eligible for membership in the Nova Scotia Bar.
