We are seeking a Training Coordinator to collaborate with multiple departments to deliver core program training, assist in developing training plans, support area leads in identifying areas of opportunity and ensuring key metrics are achieved through compliance. We are looking for a go-getter who has the vision, experience and passion to contribute to our culture and success.
How you will make an impact
- Develop and implement training material in consultation with departmental subject matter experts;
- Assist in developing a comprehensive on-boarding training curriculum and provide training plans and initiatives based on the Training Need Identification/Analysis received from Operational team;
- Participate in planning and communications between various departments and training personnel and ensures specific training requirements are identified and addressed;
- Assist in regular Program Compliance to check training effectiveness;
- Lead in monitoring and updating training modules for accuracy and relevance;
- Design innovative learning solutions and resources which utilize blended methods and technology; and
- Provide direction and support for new "best in practice" training and professional development initiatives.
What you'll bring to our team
- Post-secondary education with an emphasis on education or business administration is preferred;
- 1-2 years experience with training development or facilitation in a corporate environment is preferred;
- Strong leadership, planning, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Must possess good presentation skills;
- Understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies is an asset; and
- Must work well in multiple teams.
