About the Role
Our team is on the hunt for an Accounting Bookkeeper. Your primary duty will involve managing our clients' accounts to ensure their financial records are accurately maintained. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals passionate about organization and number-crunching.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly bookkeeping for clients, processing invoices, making payments, matching deposits
- Ensuring clients books are up to date and accurate
- Running payroll, ensuring we have appropriate documentation
- Ensuring payroll taxes are paid on time
- Filing of HST returns
- Communicating directly with clients and managing requests and expectations
- Managing medical benefits and RRSP accounts for clients
- Preparation of personal tax returns
- Monthly reporting to clients
- Ad-hoc requests
- Attend virtual meetings and possibly in person
About you
- 3-5 years previous bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience with various accounting systems such as Financial Cents, QBO, Xero, DEXT, HUBDOC, PLOOTO, WagePoint, Knit, Payworks; would be considered an asset
- High attention to detail
- Organized
- Ability to manage multiple tasks

- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
