To support these critical missions, PAL Aerospace is seeking Captains to join our team in St. John's, NL.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 500 hours multi-engine PIC.
- Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License.
- Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating.
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
- Have a valid ATPL.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Must hold a current passport at time of hire.
- Must be able to travel without restrictions to the United States.
- Must have completed a high school diploma.
- Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard.
- Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Effective communication and problem solving abilities

- Carry out the inspection, maintenance and repair of company aircraft and related aircraft systems;
- Report to the Shift Supervisor on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft;
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the company Maintenance Control Manual and Transport Canada Regulations;
- Comply with all company safety practices and procedures;
- Complete all required documentation and task cards for the work accomplished related to The aircraft maintenance performed;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed;
- Part Fabrication would be considered an asset;
- Working knowledge and experience on Dash 8 aircraft and related system;
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings;
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting and inspection techniques;
- Must possess strong interpersonal, decision making, organization and communication skills;
- Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
