We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our development team. The successful candidate will work within our close knit team on cutting edge, disruptive technology for underwater robotics and sensors.
Responsabilités
- Ensure that quality issues and defects are identified, documented, tracked and resolved
- Develop, maintain, and execute software and hardware related test cases and test suites
- Become very familiar with the Kraken line of products, including both software and hardware components
- Validate Kraken product documentation
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality assurance activities
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years experience in a software QA or tester role
- Experience with the Linux and Windows operating systems
- Able to develop and execute exploratory tests, regression tests, and automated tests, in order to ensure product quality
- Able to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans
- Strong ability and desire to learn and use new technologies
- High degree of organization, incredible attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Jira
- , Subversion, Git
- Technical background in Ocean Technology or subsea sector
- Providing customer support
