Position Title: Site Coordinator/Low-Rise (Newmarket)
Salary Range: $45,000/yr or so
About the Client and Role
My client is an established Residential Developer. For their operations in Newmarket, we are on the hunt for an experienced Site Coordinator. Reporting to the Site Superintendent and Construction Manager you will be responsible for ensuring QC deficiencies are rectified and signed/off updated in Newstar. Key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Ensure all Quality Control deficiencies are rectified within 5 business days and prior to insulation (when weather permits).
• Ensure all Quality Control deficiencies are recertified prior to PDI.
• Ensure all PDI deficiencies are rectified within 5 business days or prior to closing.
• Sign off/update deficiencies in Newstar system on a daily basis
• Sign off all completed Work Orders within 24 hours of them being completed.
• Follow up on trades after service appointments to ensure the work was completed. Updates to be sent to the trades on a weekly basis.
• Respond to Customer Care requests within 24 hours.
• Issue Completion Slips and update Completion Slips Book. Also, monitor Trade Checklists.
• Issue Field Purchase Orders as directed by the Site Superintendent or Director, Field Operations.
• Issue Back-charge and Damage Notifications as instructed.
• Assist Site Superintendent with scheduling, faxes, phone calls, inspections, etc.
• Print Trade Extras from computer as required. Also, crosscheck with Construction Files.
• Schedule and take minutes of monthly team meetings.
• Maintain updated logs (i.e. footings, safety, keys, thermostats, civic address stones, etc.).
• Filing as required and request/order material and supplies for site.
• Order rental equipment and make sure equipment is tracked in log book.
• Maintain and update Health & Safety Board in trailer.
• Ensure trades Safety Manual & Form 1000 are current and kept in trailer.
• Prepare weekly mail bag and ensure proper back-up is included.
• Submit Timesheets to head office every Friday, together with weekly Attendance Report.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Someone with 3+ years experience in Residential Construction in Ontario - familiar with deficiencies, Newstar, coordinating trades, supporting the site team
• Someone energetic and who can be counted on to stay on top of things
