The IBM – PSR Team is seeking a Tester for a contract opportunity in the Ottawa area.
HYBRID WORK – 2 days/ week onsite in Ottawa
Role description:
The consultant will be working with the IT project team that supports the health information management system for the Federal Government.
The primary responsibilities of the Junior System Support Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Establishing test plans.
• Writing test scripts for system requirements.
• Executing tests and documenting results.
• Recording issues.
• Updating and/or creating new regression tests.

The consultant must have analytical ability and have strong written and oral communication skills.
Mandatory Skills:

1. Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance – Secret
2. Must have completed two academic years of an acceptable post- secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position. Qualification achieved outside of Canada must provide equivalency certificate.
3. Minimum of six months experience as a Tester/ QA Analyst.
4. Minimum of six months of experience; within the last 36 months; in information system trouble shooting that includes following tasks: Documenting diagnosis; Document problem analysis and documenting recommendations.
