Incident Lead
Role Title: Incident Lead Competency
Level: L3 Experience: 7-10 years of recent experience.
Description The Incident Lead has a key role in being the single point of contact that can be utilized by CDT 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for purposes of receiving Incidents or being alerted to potential Incidents through automated monitoring services. Working with the Application Operations and Maintenance Lead, the Incident Lead will be responsible for managing incident resolution and informing post-incident reviews for CDT digital solutions as effectively and efficiently as possible while minimizing service delivery disruption and downtime. Competencies:
- Experience being a single point of contact for incidents and automated monitoring tools.
- Experience leading escalations, incident management and resolution processes.
- Experience maintaining responsiveness, collaboration and communications under pressure.
- Experience completing and/or participating in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Ensuring fixes are aligned to organizational IMIT policies and standards.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks for incident, problem and change management.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience ensuring security compliance and vulnerabilities management.
- Experience with monitoring and performance optimization tools.
- Experience with the Ministry's tools and technologies as identified in the RFP.
- Appropriate industry-standard certifications (where applicable) for the Services defined in the RFP (e.g. Cisco, MCP, TOGAF, ITIL);
- Working knowledge of information privacy protection and security fundamentals.
