We're seeking an experienced Construction Manager on behalf of a reputable local residential builder. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction schedules and site operations through regular walk-throughs and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with Site Superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep builds on track.
• Manage site services (utilities, drainage, connections) and resolve any delays or unforeseen conditions.
• Lead inspections and quality control to ensure all work aligns with building codes and specifications.
• Champion site safety by enforcing protocols, conducting hazard assessments, and managing incident reporting.
• Monitor budgets, approve invoices, and optimize resource use with procurement teams.
• Mentor site teams, provide performance feedback, and support succession planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering (preferred).
• Valid Provincial Driver's License (required).
• Gold Seal (GSC), PMP, COR/NCSO, First Aid/CPR (assets).
• Proven leadership experience in residential construction.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
