Location: Calgary, Alberta

Contract length: 5 months +

Must be available to work in office 3 days a week

Job Title: Technical Project Manager Salesforce Experience: [7+ Years]

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of Salesforce development projects using Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce project implementations from initiation through delivery.
  • Collaborate with product owners, technical architects, Salesforce developers, and QA teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals and user requirements.
  • Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain and track project plans, budgets, resource allocations, risks, and issue logs. Proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Communicate project status clearly and consistently to stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate strong team collaboration and resolve conflicts to keep projects on track.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a Salesforce development environment.
  • Proven experience managing Agile projects involving custom Salesforce implementations. Good understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, and common development practices (Apex, LWC, integrations).
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders and bridge the gap between them.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder).
  • Prior experience with large-scale digital transformation or CRM modernization projects. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes for Salesforce.
