Medical Office Administrative Assistant – Urology & Pelvic Health & Wellness Clinic
Cambridge, Ontario
Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Starting wage: Minimum $24/hour (salary commensurate with experience) + benefits
We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and highly organized Medical Office Administrative Assistant to support a newly established Urology and Pelvic Physiotherapy clinic in Cambridge, Ontario, starting June 1, 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented, and independent individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a core member of our growing team, you will play a central role in both clinical and administrative operations—ensuring a smooth, discreet, and compassionate experience for patients seeking care for deeply personal pelvic and urological health concerns.
This dual-specialty clinic will offer both urology consultations and procedures, as well as pelvic physiotherapy services, creating a collaborative space focused on whole-patient care. You will be involved in everything from reception and scheduling to EMR management and in-office testing, with a unique opportunity to grow alongside the clinic as we expand services and staffing.
We're looking for someone who is warm, empathetic, and solution-oriented—a true self-starter who takes pride in creating an organized and welcoming clinic experience. For the right candidate, there is potential for growth into a leadership role, such as office manager overseeing future staff, as the clinic evolves.

- Schedule patient appointments and procedures (in both clinic and hospital settings)
- Manage electronic medical records (Accuro EMR essential) including scanning, faxing, and correspondence
- Assist with minor in-office procedures such as uroflowmetry and bladder scans (training provided)
- Liaise with hospitals, diagnostic clinics, and referring physician offices
- Prepare medical forms, manage documentation, and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Support pelvic physiotherapy operations including reception, scheduling, and client communication
- Order and manage clinic inventory and office supplies
- Participate in the clinic's growth and development, with interest in future management responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Accuro EMR (mandatory)
- Experience with medical scheduling and clinic workflows
- Professional demeanor, discretion, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Competency with computers and understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Willingness to learn and perform bladder scans and uroflowmetry (training provided)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Jane App EMR (asset)
- Completion of a Medical Office Administration diploma, certification, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, physician office, physiotherapy clinic, etc.)
- Knowledge of OHIP billing and private insurance documentation
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: Minimum $24/hour (salary commensurate with experience)
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
