Job Title: Senior Estimator – ICI Construction
Location: West GTA, Ontario
Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
About the Opportunity:
An established and highly regarded ICI construction firm located in the West GTA is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team. This company delivers a range of projects within the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) sectors and is known for its strong project delivery, supportive team environment, and longstanding presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for ICI construction projects, including tender submissions, budgets, and design-build proposals.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and other documents to accurately estimate costs.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Collaborate with project management teams to provide support during pre-construction and project delivery.
• Track and manage changes to project scopes and budgets.
• Participate in value engineering exercises and recommend cost-effective alternatives where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of estimating experience in the ICI construction sector in Canada.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
