We at Lounsbury Chevrolet in Bathurst are looking for a Dispatcher & Service Advisor.

This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for the workflow in the shop and for handling internal repair orders.

The pay rate ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of work in the shop by assigning work to Technicians, prioritizing tasks based on promised times, comebacks, waiters, etc.

• Schedule appointment times for the Sales department, and ensure new vehicles and used cars taken in on trade are worked on in a timely manner.

• Ensure Service Technicians meet quality standards and productivity requirements.

• Assist the Service Manager with managing the quality of work.

• Support the Service Department with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent work experience (High school diploma or GED required)

• Technically inclined.

• Has attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize tasks

• Previous experience in a supervisory role, coordination, and customer service.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
