RESPONSIBILITY:Food Preparation:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, and mixing according to recipes.
- Production of a variety of dishes, including main courses, appetizers, desserts, and baked goods.
- Ensure dishes meet the establishment's standards for taste and quality.
- Prepare and fill pans, molds, or baking sheets.
Baking:
- Prepare bread, focaccia, pizza, rolls, muffins, pie, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Store them properly ready to be finalized from line cooks during catering operation time.
Kitchen Operations:
- Production of standardized recipes (bulk).
- Storing the food produced properly by following proper Freezeng istructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations.
- Plate prepared foods based on the senior chef's guidance.
- Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils.
Other Duties:
- Work with kitchen staff & hot table staff to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef or other kitchen staff.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Experience:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques (e.g., grilling, frying, sautéing).
