Acara Solutions is looking for Mechanical Assembler with hands on experience in manufacturing to join our client's team based in Etobicoke On. The shift timing is Friday to Sunday from 7:00am - 7:00 pm paying $22.95 + $2.00 shift premium.
Responsibilities

• Assemble custom parts according to established written work instructions and schematics
• Read and interpret assembly drawings
• Follow set instructions, job orders, recording information
• Performing quality checks using tools and gauges and completing checklists
• Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles by checking the quality of work prior to handing unit off to the next process
• Work in a safe environment, keeping self and workstation free from hazards

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly of sheet metal products or medium to high voltage products
• Able to visualize and plan the assembly of a product based on wiring schematics and mechanical blueprints
• Able to safely operate hand and power tools
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent problem-solving skills and good communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
