Responsibilities
- Assemble custom parts according to established written work instructions and schematics
- Read and interpret assembly drawings
- Follow set instructions, job orders, recording information
- Performing quality checks using tools and gauges and completing checklists
- Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles by checking the quality of work prior to handing unit off to the next process
- Work in a safe environment, keeping self and workstation free from hazards
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical assembly of sheet metal products or medium to high voltage products
- Able to visualize and plan the assembly of a product based on wiring schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Able to safely operate hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent problem-solving skills and good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
