- Description:The UX Performance Lead is accountable for all feedback and intuitiveness of user interfaces within the vehicle and infotainment systems. UX Performance Leads are specifically focused on feedback, messaging, auditory signals, intuitiveness, functional grouping and feature logic. UX Performance Leads are responsible for the robust development and management of system logic and ensures specification alignment with customer functional objectives, electrical engineering specifications and graphical assets.
The UX Performance Lead will be involved in the validation of feature logic as well as working directly with the HMI validation teams to verify implementation aligns to requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create clear and robust specifications;
Participate in meetings:
Present new design proposals;
Share HMI issues related to the HMI features;
Present benchmarking data to be compared to company execution;
Present user test results and give HMI directions.
Propose solutions to improve the user interaction with the features and achieve higher targets;
Lead change request activities;
Support User Test team in order to create user tests to validate new design solutions;
Support validation team during validation phases;
Support for opening and solving validation issues
Support Performance Lead during vehicle assessments - Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Engineering, Ergonomics, Human Factors, Physiology, Biomechanics, Biomedical, Human Kinetics, Psychology, Cognitive systems or other related fields
3-5 years' experience HMI performance and validation.
Additional Information / Must Have's:
1. Knowledge of HMI/UX principles, either through education or job experience are a must.
2. Automotive experience is a plus.
3. Would prefer if candidate was located close to border in case they need to work at ARDC
How many years of experience are you looking for (if different than the job description ): 1-3 years, ok to count education as experience if degree was HMI focused.
Onsite/ Remote Hybrid - Would prefer they are close to border in case we need them to go into ARDC.
Must have the ability to cross border in case they want to attend any team building events at CTC in Auburn Hills, MI.
Will this position be required to drive a Stellantis vehicle during the assignment? Driving is required as they will be evaluating Stellantis vehicles.
Travel - Minimal Travel. ( Those who come over, do so voluntarily. 1 contract worker preferred to be present for certain workshops and team gatherings, so she tried to come over around 1 per month. But my other two have come over once in the 3 years they have been on my team. So we can say once every 6 months at most, but it may depend on the person's preference.)
