The Opportunity:

We're looking for a People & Culture - Shared Services Student to join our team for a 4- Or 8-month term. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Advisor leading the Shared Services project, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise-wide initiatives designed to streamline and improve our P&C operations.

You'll help with developing onboarding documentation, drafting training manuals, and supporting the dual maintenance phase as we integrate a new business line into Jobvite and UKG. This is a unique opportunity to get exposure to P&C systems, process improvement, and strategic transformation work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in understanding and documenting current and future state onboarding processes
  • Support the creation of training manuals and job aids for Shared Services activities
  • Participate in workshops and team engagement sessions to gather process feedback
  • Help coordinate and track activities during the dual maintenance phase of HR system integration
  • Support process mapping, gap analysis, and other business analysis tasks
  • Assist in compiling and organizing project materials for stakeholder updates
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as needed in support of the project

Education:

You are currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution working towards a bachelor's degree with a focus in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field. You are in your 2nd , 3rd or 4th year of your program.

Requirements:

  • You are available for a 4 or 8 month term beginning on or around May 2025.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and possess natural leadership as demonstrated in academic and/or extracurricular activities.
  • You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills to enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment
  • You are a creative and analytical thinker with some project management skills who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit, and are passionate about seeking out win-win solutions.
  • You have strong MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You will be part of a global team and must be able to work effectively through a high degree of collaboration and communication through in-person meetings and video conferences.
