Qualifications:
- RIBO License in good standing
- 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry as a CSR, working with multiple markets
- Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and coverages for major insurance carriers
- Proficiency with Broker Management Systems
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Experience with MS Office, Outlook, and Compu-Quote rating systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a dedicated book of personal lines accounts, ensuring superior client service
- Handle auto and property insurance needs, including writing new business, re-quoting, and remarketing clients to retain business
- Act as a trusted advisor on personal lines insurance, educating clients on products and coverages
- Process and follow up on renewals, endorsements, and new business, including portal entry
- Identify and act on cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Collaborate with team members and work closely with Producers to review, bind, and process new business and policy changes
