Responsibilities:
- Provides application and product training to both technical and non-technical users.
- Develops, designs and delivers training material to both technical and non-technical users.
- 5+ years experience in the development, design, and delivery of training material for both technical and non-technical users at the specified experience level.
- 5+ years experience delivering training sessions both in person and through live online sessions via teleconference or webinar.
- 3+ years experience developing documentation and gathering required information to structure contact and course design requirements.
- Experience in the development, design and delivery of training material for both technical and non-technical users at the specified experience level.
- Knowledge and experience in delivering training on specified packages and platforms.
- Experience delivering subject matter training sessions both in person and through live online sessions via teleconference or webinar.
- Experience creating, developing, documenting and/or updating training strategies.
- Experience building training plans for stakeholders.
- Experience developing and delivering technical training plans and materials for both technical and non-technical users.
- Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
- Experience with presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe, or Image software for screen capture.
- Experience delivering solution training, developing training documentation or job aids, as well as identifying new training opportunities for clients.
- Adult education principles / practices (e.g. learning needs assessment, program design, development strategies/methods) to plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate organizational training programs, determine alternate delivery methods (e.g. eLearning, Virtual, In-class).
- Training software tools to prepare and present training material to various audiences.
- Research, planning and organization skills to conduct needs assessments and evaluate training impacts.
- Oral and written communication and presentation techniques to deliver training courses, develop and prepare training program documents (e.g. training program plans, instructional materials, training evaluation tools).
- Interpersonal and influencing skills to persuasion and motivational skills to deal with course participants who require additional support.
- Team and collaborative skills to develop materials within the training unit and build morale in a team environment.
- Interpersonal skills including sensitivity, tact and professionalism working with trainees.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to determine training needs and objectives and identify training options and make recommendations that align with project s goals.
- Deliver and facilitate virtual and in-person training programs using best in-class engagement techniques.
- Review and assess training program effectiveness and make recommendations to address issues and concerns.
- Develop and conduct needs assessments and assist with the development of training modules.
- Evaluate training courses as well as revise and improve the training courses based on the feedback.
- Plan and coordinate the delivery of training activities.
- Assist with the training material deliverables for the UA Sandbox.
