Experienced Automotive Wheel Technician

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Mounting and balancing wheels on various types of vehicles
• Repairing damaged wheels through welding, sanding, or refinishing
• Inspecting wheels for any damages or defects and recommending necessary repairs or replacements
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations
• Providing exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns related to wheels and tires
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with wheels and tires on various types of vehicles

• Red Seal certified
• Prior experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is an asset
• Knowledge of wheel alignment, balancing, and tire installation procedures
• Familiarity with various brands and types of tires and wheels
• Ability to use specialized equipment such as tire changers, balancers, and alignment machines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
• Good physical fitness for lifting heavy wheels and tires

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
