Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leasing Manager to oversee and manage all leasing activities for our commercial properties. The Leasing Manager will be responsible for ensuring optimal occupancy, implementing effective leasing strategies, managing tenant relations, and maintaining property values. This position requires a strong understanding of market trends, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants, brokers and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute leasing strategies to attract and retain high-quality tenants for office and retail spaces.
  • Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, prospective and current tenants, and contractors.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about local rental trends, opportunities, and competitor pricing.
  • Ensure all leasing activities comply with federal, provincial, and local housing laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on the preparation of leasing documents, including letters of intent, lease agreements and amendments.
  • Monitor lease expirations and proactively manage lease renewals and tenant retention.
  • Work closely with the property management team to address tenant concerns and maintain property standards.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial leasing, property management, or a related role.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic Mandarin communication is preferred.
