The primary role of the Senior Advisor, Commercial Finance is directly responsible for analyzing, assessing, and responding to potential client financing requests for projects and commercial assets, then advising and structuring the proposed financing required. This position will create compelling funding proposals using the latest funding strategies, techniques and methods for approval and distribution by the Capital Markets Team.

The Senior Advisor, Commercial Finance will identify and pre-qualify which financing request can be realistically funded based on the potential client's financial capacity and present market conditions. The ability and knowledge to structure creative and compelling financing solutions using cross-collateralizations and over-collateralizations is required.

The Senior Advisor, Commercial Finance will then proceed with the engagement of potential clients who have 'fundable' asset-based financing requests and will then perform the following functions;

ü Financing Assessment

ü Client Advisory

ü Finance Structuring

ü Proposed Financing Summary

ü Engagement Agreement

ü Due Diligence & Underwriting report

ü Term Sheet

Once the client is engaged, the Senior Advisor, Commercial Finance will then;

ü Monitor the due diligence process through the Senior Underwriter

ü Monitor the funding process through the Senior Advisor, Capital Markets

ü Initiate negotiations with written expressions of interest from interested funders with the client

ü Finalize the funding transaction in conjunction with the Senior Advisor, Capital Markets.

The Senior Advisor, Commercial Finance will create compelling funding proposals using the latest funding strategies, techniques and methods for approval and distribution by the Capital Markets Team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Preferred applicants must have the following educational qualifications and experience equivalents;-

Ø Master of Business Administration or a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a specialization in finance,

Ø Experienced candidate who has accumulated a minimum of two years of 'hands on' experience in all activities of real estate, construction, and project finance,

Ø Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, modelling, and valuations,

Ø Strong track record of previous transaction management, negotiation and completion performance,
