Controller
Our client is a growing food manufacturing business dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Job Summary:
The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cost management, and compliance with industry regulations. Working closely with a small team, this role will be hands-on and pivotal in driving the company's financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze production costs and margins to identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee cash flow management to ensure financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings.
  • Collaborate with management on strategic planning and financial decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Support operational efficiency through financial analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment.
Salary 95-120,000 range depending on experience.
