Our client, in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join them on a 6-month assignment. The role will be working onsite 5 days onsite at their offices in Mississauga.

The Senior Accountant will:

• Support CFO and Sr. Director, Finance as well as Management team.
• Assist with the coordination of external financial audits and statutory audits.
• Establish and monitor internal controls and policies to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies for all CPL business units.
• Support ERP(SAP) projects as required.
• Manage and direct the activities required in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets and quarterly forecasting.
• Ensure the consolidated financial, cost and management reports are assembled and finalized in a timely manner.
• Prepare sales margin report monthly.

TMGCT

• A University degree plus a Canadian accounting designation (CPA, (CMA, CA or
• CGA)) is required.
• 3+ years of financial accounting experience in industry,
• preferably in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment.
• Technical skills in financial accounting and analysis, foreign currency, and
• Require working knowledge of SAP.
