This is an exciting, hands-on role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to work with high-end automation and analytical systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial analytical equipment and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and adjust electrical and automation components
- Conduct technical audits and assess customer needs
- Lead or support the implementation of small-to-mid-scale projects
- Handle and configure industrial equipment and related components
- Collaborate with buyers and parts clerks to provide accurate service quotes
- Plan, price, and coordinate service requests for customers
- Occasionally respond to urgent service calls during evenings/weekends (1–2 times/month)
- DEC in Control Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics (or similar field)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a service technician or field technician role
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with steam lines (an asset)
- Strong technical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Professional communication skills – written and spoken
- Customer-first mindset and a calm, confident approach under pressure
