Senior Accountant (Full-Time, In-Office)
Location: Vancouver, BC | Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually (based on experience)

A leading luxury home builder and developer with over 20 years of experience designing and constructing high-end custom residences is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their close-knit team of professionals. What You'll DoLead and mentor a Junior Accountant, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial operations
Manage full-cycle accounting, including forecasting, financial analysis, month-end and year-end processes
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
Review job costs and margins, prepare client invoices, and liaise with financial institutions for draw requests
File accurate quarterly and annual WorkSafe BC submissions and GST returns
Prepare cash flow forecasts and rolling projections for development and property management projects
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Design, Sales) to ensure financial clarity and alignment
Maintain organized bookkeeping records and prepare annual budgets and board reporting packages
Support year-end audits and external accounting reviews
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably within construction, development, or a related industry
Solid understanding of financial statements and full-cycle accounting practices
Experience supervising or mentoring junior accounting staff
Formal accounting education (an accounting designation such as CPA is an asset)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communicator who can adapt to different working styles and collaborate cross-functionally
Confident problem-solver who remains calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-moving environment
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and professional ethics
