WAGE: Starting at $38 for Journeyman and $25 for Apprentice

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, repair and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation and control equipment in the industrial Oil & Gas sector
- Install new electrical service stands and power distribution
- Trouble shoot and install motor VFD/PLC relay logic power and controls
- Read engineered drawings to accurately and efficiently install electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues including but not limited to; motors, VFDs, lighting circuits, control circuits, fire and gas detection, transmitters, analyzers and pumps
- Read and redline electrical drawings
- Install tray and conduit systems
- Cut in, gland and terminate tech cables
- Understand and interpret Canadian electrical code
- Scope and order material for small projects and daily work
- Respectfully mentor and guide apprentices; lead by example
- Complete shop duties as requested; clean up, organization, parts, yard, trucks etc.
- Load and unload work trucks as per job requirements
- Adhere to all company and client health and safety guidelines and regulations
- Ensure paperwork is completed timely and legibly; complete QA/QC documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in electrical construction and maintenance within the Oil and Gas sector
- A professional and respectful attitude with a strong customer service focus
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and written
- Ability to work independently and cohesively within groups
- Excellent work history and solid references
- A highly respectful attitude
- A valid drivers license and a 3-year abstract
- All industry required safety tickets including:
- First Aid/CPR
- H2S (Enform/Energy Safety Canada)
- CSTS (ACSA)
- CSO (Energy Safety Canada)
