Your Role:
As a Home Care HCA, you will:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility support, and companionship.
- Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Ensure clients' safety and well-being while promoting independence.
- Travel to clients' homes (must be willing to drive up to 1 hour).
What You Need to Qualify:
- Valid HCA diploma – Registered with the Alberta HCA Directory (must have a directory number).
- Current First Aid & CPR certification.
- CANSWA Membership (or willingness to obtain).
- Up-to-date immunization record (DTaP, MMR, HepB).
- 2-step negative TB test and/or recent chest X-ray (within 6 months).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for home visits).
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
