Job title: Business Analyst

Location: Fredericton, NB, Canada/Onsite

Pay Rate: $/hr.

Duration: 12 months contract

Shift: - Work is scheduled Monday to Friday ONSITE (7.25 hours/day).

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the software development team to understand and document business requirements.

· Elicit requirements from stakeholders and convert them into user stories and functional specifications.

· Analyze existing business functions and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.

· Define goals and document clear, actionable business needs.

· Prepare test case specifications and requirements traceability documentation.

· Contribute to the planning and execution of testing activities.

· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and support Agile best practices.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development environments.

· Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

· Ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements and workflows.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Experience creating user stories, test cases, and traceability matrices.
