Litigation Associate

Brampton, Ontario

Client seeks a highly-motivated Litigation Associate to join our Commercial Litigation team.

Required Qualifications:

At least four (4) years of demonstrated litigation experience in a law firm.

Experience in commercial and insolvency litigation and business-related disputes.

Excellent academic credentials.

Court and/or trial experience would be considered a strong asset.

Law degree from an accredited Canadian Law school and must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Strong practice management skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong analytical, and research skills.

Strong legal, advocacy and organizational skills.

Must be able to balance competing demands as well as being self-motivated, innovative and flexible.
