Payroll Administrator About Pivotal Pivotal is a fast-growing leader in outsourced HR services, partnering with small to medium-sized businesses as their on-site HR department. The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Jr. Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our HR Outsourcing division. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can independently manage payroll processes while delivering exceptional client service. Reporting to the Leadership Team, you will process payrolls. You'll also manage benefits and retirement plans while ensuring compliance and data integrity. Key Responsibilities 1. Process payrolls across Canada, including Quebec, with full knowledge of statutory deductions. 2. Manage year-end payroll tasks, including issuing T4s, RL1s, and summaries. 3. Administer benefits and retirement plans, liaising with providers for seamless operations. 4. File WCB reports, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with employment standards. 5. Provide exceptional client support, achieving satisfaction ratings above 90%. 6. Collaborate with the HR Manager to align payroll processes with HR objectives. Qualifications 1. PCP certification (required); 2. 3+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ year-ends. 3. Experience with payroll software (Ceridian, ADP and other various payroll systems). 4. Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 5. Knowledge of provincial health taxes, levies, and employment standards. 6. Bilingual in English and French (an asset).
