Our client in commercial and industrial general contracting and construction management projects. They are a dynamic company looking for an experienced Site Superintendent (Commercial and Industrial) - (grocery stores, retail and industrial)

Responsibilities will include:

· Responsible for all site operations - ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards

· Monitor and proactively manage site schedule on a daily basis

· Manage workers, resources, materials, and sub-contractors to optimize project efficiency

· Anticipate and solve on-site problems

· Maintain positive working relationships with project manager, customers, and subcontractors

· Maintain on-site health and safety standards

Qualifications and personal attributes:

· Excellent organizational and problem solving skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Energetic, ambitious team player

· Attentive to detail and quality of work

· Personable and approachable

· Work well with others under pressure

· Ability and confidence to work independently

· Familiar with WCB regulations and able to implement best safety practices

· Good computer skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook

· First aid certification an advantage

· Retail construction experience preferred
