- Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
- $20-$40 dependent on experience
Tasks:
- Build fibre optic and copper splice closures, prep, and splice OSP fibre and copper cables into various situations.
- Dress and mount aerial cables. This may involve using a bucket truck, or ladder.
- Dress and rack splices and cables in pedestals, service boxes, vaults, and manholes
- Use OTDR, OLTS, and Power Meters to test, analyze, and troubleshoot fibre and copper networks.
- Maintain air systems for copper networks.
- Read and interpret telecom design prints and update based on progress, changes, field findings.
- Safely drive and maneuver vehicles into tight spaces and easements.
- Perform other duties as requested.
