Berkeley is seeking a high performing individual, who is looking to join a high caliber Sales team. You have worked in sales for up to 5 years, been very successful, but want more challenges, and opportunities to grow. You will drive the growth of our payments-as-a-platform offering in any one of the fields of fintech enablement, banking solutions, promotion / loyalty / incentives, Gig Pay / Earn Wage Access or Real-time payments. The Sales Director will lead / participate in all aspects of the sales cycle, including generating leads, driving opportunities, manage prospect relationships, and close new business. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset to identify and reach prospects and an individual who has experience in B2B sales.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly-motivated, and results-oriented team player with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling, who understands the value of research and the importance of personalizing value propositions and messaging to target prospects. The self-motivated individual will have an understanding and experience with Consultative Selling. He or she is highly driven and values the benefit of being part of an agile growing team.

The successful candidate will be remote (Canada or US based) and will report to the VP, Revenue.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales territory plan to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Build a pipeline through proactive prospecting, attending events, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn and Salesforce.
  • Analyze sales territory and provide insights using our Sales CRM system for accurate forecasting.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within designated verticals, nurturing potential customer accounts to develop relationships.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, adapting messaging to continuously improve results.
  • Keep up-to-date with our services and those of our competitors, representing Berkeley positively and providing excellent customer service.
  • Occasional travel for high-value prospects.

  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to engage senior executives effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales and B2B sales environments
  • Strong negotiation and business development skills
  • Demonstrated ability in account management and leadership
  • Proficient in analysis skills to drive sales strategies
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and technology sales
  • Excellent customer service orientation and marketing knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
