Equine Register Canada Limited is expanding its presence as part of a global leader in equine traceability and protection. Our digital solutions support national biosecurity, disease surveillance, animal welfare, and disaster response efforts across the equine industry.

We're on a mission to protect horses of all kinds—from competitive show jumpers to beloved family companions. Through innovative technology, we're creating safer systems for every equine and the people who care for them. We currently provide solutions for G7 nations and international partners.

The Opportunity

As our Marketing and Communication Manager, you will lead our Canadian marketing initiatives during an exciting growth phase. You will develop strategies that connect our digital solutions with the diverse needs of the Canadian equine community.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Brand Development: Create and execute our marketing strategy across Canada, with support for US operations
  • Drive Digital Engagement: Manage social media, website content, and digital campaigns that resonate with horse owners, breeders, and industry professionals
  • Create Compelling Content: Develop materials that clearly communicate how our solutions benefit equines and their caretakers
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships within the equine industry to expand our reach
  • Implement Innovative Approaches: Use gamification, behavioral insights, and targeted messaging to encourage platform adoption
  • Respond to Industry Needs: Develop both planned campaigns and responsive communications during emergencies or industry developments
  • Measure and Optimize: Track marketing performance and adapt strategies based on data-driven insights

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of marketing management experience
  • Strong digital marketing capabilities across multiple channels
  • Experience with both B2C and B2B marketing strategies
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of performance metrics and budget management
  • Knowledge of or interest in the Canadian equine industry (highly valued)

Work Environment

  • Working in a hybrid office environment
  • Opportunity to work with both Canadian and global colleagues
  • Would be of benefit to speak and write French
  • Ability to work across international time zones
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
