Job Description:Our client is a respected law firm with a longstanding history of providing exceptional legal services. As our Litigation practice group continues to grow, they are looking for a highly skilled Litigation Assistant to join their team.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will support their attorneys in providing high-quality litigation services to our clients. You will be integral in managing various administrative tasks, assisting in the preparation and review of litigation documents, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation, drafting, and review of litigation documents
Manage data entry and record-keeping for litigation files
Provide administrative support to the litigation team
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties to ensure timely and accurate information exchange
Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and case law in the litigation field
Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and schedules for the litigation team
Handle general office tasks such as organizing documents and ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
Legal Assistant diploma or certificate required
Strong understanding of commercial leasing transactions and/or construction litigation
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
