Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nutrition counseling and develop individualized dietary plans for patients with endocrinological conditions such as diabetes, dyslipidemia, pcos, prediabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and metabolic syndrome.
- Collaborate with the endocrinologist and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Conduct virtual consultations and follow-up visits with patients to monitor progress, adjust dietary recommendations, and provide ongoing support.
- Educate patients about the role of nutrition in managing chronic conditions and improving overall health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for insurance reimbursement purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) designation with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Experience working with patients who have chronic conditions, particularly diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic health, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Comfort and experience with virtual consultations.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
