Account Executive

Location: Based out of Liberty Village, Toronto (Work-from-home one day per week) Coverage: Serving clients across industries in North America

Our client a fast-growing North American consulting firm and client of Hour Consulting is seeking a results-oriented Account Executive to own and grow their new business pipeline. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is energized by helping clients across industries solve challenges through creative digital solutions, technical project delivery, and top-tier talent services.

Your Role

As the Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving net new business acquisition and opening doors to new clients across North America. You will lead the full sales cycle from outreach and discovery through to proposal and close and work closely with the account management and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition into long-term, successful client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Own the full sales cycle with a strong focus on generating net new clients across diverse industries

  • Prospect, pitch, and convert new business opportunities that align with the firm's core capabilities (e.g., digital product delivery, staffing, consulting)

  • Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns targeting decision-makers across various verticals

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with account management and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term client success

  • Stay aligned with internal teams on client goals, scope, and growth opportunities

  • Participate in internal pipeline reviews, sales reporting, and forecasting

Client Strategy & Market Insight

  • Develop a deep understanding of client challenges and tailor proposals to deliver measurable business value

  • Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities

  • Provide feedback to internal teams to continuously improve offerings and positioning

What You Bring
  • A proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in consulting, digital services, or professional services

  • Experience winning net new business and building relationships from the ground up

  • Previous experience working with or selling for a digital consulting or product studio the kind of company that blends strategy, design, technology, and talent to deliver end-to-end digital solutions

  • Confidence in managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of digital strategy, UX, software development, and mobile development

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal

  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive approach to growth and relationship-building
