About the role:
We are searching for a Protocol Engineer with a focus on distributed systems and scaling to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive problem solver with a penchant for deep technical challenges, strong communication skills, and a builder mentality.
You'll be helping contribute to a cutting-edge distributed system, navigating nuanced tradeoffs between latency, privacy, fault tolerance, and incentives.
What you'll do:
Spearhead SUAVE and SUAPPS development, leveraging your Rust/Go expertise
Forge high-performance, battle-tested code while optimising Flashbots' protocols
Innovate with top mechanism designers at the nexus of incentives and distributed systems
Craft clear, comprehensive technical documentation and diagrams
Champion community engagement and strategic collaborations
Proven mastery of distributed systems and blockchain, with a history of conquering Rust challenges.
Experience with Ethereum clients (e.g., Geth) or adjacent infrastructure (indexers, p2p overlays).
Smart contract development proficiency.
Thought leadership in open-source projects or protocol specifications is a nice to have.
Extensive experience using Rust & Golang
