Celebrating our 40th anniversary, out client is an established firm that provides comprehensive landscape design, arborist services and contract administration to both private and public sector clients in Southern Ontario. Their portfolio encompasses a wide range of projects, including residential communities, high-rise and low-rise condominium developments, industrial and commercial developments, parkland and recreational facilities, and restoration/naturalization projects.
Position Description:
They are excited to welcome a talented Senior Landscape Architect to our team. As a key player in their Landscape Architectural firm, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, design leadership and project management skills, while working on diverse projects. You will be at the forefront of the creative process, leading projects and driving innovation in our studio-based team.
Key responsibilities include:
· Coordinate and collaborate with clients, managers and consulting teams.
· Develop concept designs, master plans and prepare associated urban design briefs.
· Preparation of detailed design packages for working drawing coordination, approvals, and construction.
· Assist in the supervision and scheduling of landscape architectural designers and technical staff.
· Liaise with principals, project managers and technical staff to prepare deliverables.
· Review deliverables for quality assurance.
Qualifications:
· Landscape Architect with an OALA stamp.
· Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional Landscape Architectural office or similar design firm.
· A practical, creative thinker with strong design ability.
· Experienced in condominium projects and coordination with consulting teams.
· CAD drafting skills and associated software such as Adobe, Sketch up/Lumion and InDesign.
· A complete understanding of current municipal requirements and approval processes.
· Exceptional attention to detail, schedule management with ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
· A strong leader with exceptional written and interpersonal skills.
