- Leads new network (LAN/SDWAN) system analysis and manages network transition requirements.
- Demonstrates knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, facility design standards, and interprets network diagrams.
- Provides specialized technical expertise in the overall analysis of the design and architecture of network solutions and associated tools.
- Leads the analysis, development, and documentation of design and architecture of network systems solutions.
- Leads the development of testing, integration, and implementation of network solutions into the clients applications.
- Leads the technical aspects of projects related to the development and/or acquisition of a diverse range of network applications through all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- This includes planning, scheduling, and estimating resources, providing technical expertise, coordination, monitoring progress, and providing management with project status updates.
- Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, translating business documents into technical specifications.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing complex applications utilizing relational and multi-dimensional databases.
- Ability to provide implementation and post-implementation support as required.
- Oversees the research and evaluation of the technical components in the acquisition of software, hardware, technology, systems, and products.
- Recommends and directs the measurement and improvement of tools, techniques, standards, and performance criteria to control the quality of application development initiatives.
- Provides coaching and direction to junior analysts throughout the project, related to the development and/or acquisition of a diverse range of client applications through all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
Core Skills:
- Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) design, implementation, and migration experience.
- Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, installation, configuration, daily operation.
- VMware, strong knowledge of networking operation.
- Expert level IP routing and L2 in data center using Cisco.
- Strong VoIP experience, implementing QoS for enterprise voice.
- Fluent with both Windows and Unix OS Administration.
- IPv6 experience.
- Configuration management of networking devices using automation tools and API scripting with Python.
- Docker Containers.
- Ansible Tower.
- ELK stack.
- Netbox.
- VMware ESXi networking, vDS, clustering, and high availability in virtualized environments.
- Windows Active Directory.
- DNS (Infoblox or similar).
- Cisco Hyper Flex, implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing is required (OSPF, BGP).
- Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager for TACACS implementation experience.
- Knowledge and experience with Palo Alto technologies (Panorama, Global Protect).
- Experience with projects related to 24x7 critical environments and operations.
- Ability to work in an agile dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.

- Related degree in computer science or electrical engineering and/or seven to ten years of equivalent network engineering experience.
