ROLE:

GSTS is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to join our go-to-market team on a 14-month contract. The ideal candidate would join our team starting in June 2025 and continuing until August 2026 with the possibility of extending based on business needs. We encourage all applicants to apply with the understanding that the opportunity could evolve into a long-term role, but it is not guaranteed.

As part of our go-to-market team, you will support the continued commercialization of OCIANA, our platform designed to deliver integrated solutions to enhance real-time decision-making across the maritime industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right experience, having a strong drive to learn new technologies and wanting to work on innovative, decision-support solutions that utilize Artificial Intelligence and Big Data analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing Manager will:

  • Support all related marketing lead initiatives
  • Devise and implement an omni-channel digital marketing strategy including website, search engine optimization, and social media
  • Own and manage all channel analytics to enhance content engagement levels
  • Drive collaboration and help inform strategy of content deliverables across various teams
  • Plan and develop new concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics
  • Develop collateral such as presentation decks, brochures, invitations, and event materials by collaborating with various teams
  • Manage various content forms across all platforms, including website, email and social media
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members
  • Coordinate with agencies, art services, printers, etc., to complete projects
  • Gather and generate specific content and assets that will positively impact campaign goals and target audience behavior
  • Support brand architecture, positioning and strategy
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional publications
  • Assist with brand awareness and lead generation programs such as podcasts, sponsorships and webinars


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A relevant post-secondary degree and 3+ years experience as a brand strategist, graphics designer, content lead or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Creative and compelling storyteller
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong design skills including current working knowledge of desktop publishing tools and graphic design software

  • Attention to detail
  • Deadline-oriented

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience with previous demand generation and business development initiatives
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry and global trends

COMMENTS/SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Candidates must pass a criminal background check and be able to obtain Controlled Goods clearance

Candidates will be expected to show prior examples of work
