As a Regional Manager based in Alberta. Reporting to the Division's General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Prairies regional sales and operations of the branches within your geographical territory, Health & Safety, liaison with RODC and various Head Office Departments. Your responsibilities will include: Job Responsibilities : * Growing sales and market share on all products for Nedco in the Prairies Region. * Help set regional sales strategies, annual sales targets, budgets and goals. * Oversee the Projects team and ensure profitability. * Monitoring expense levels and ensuring that corrective action is taken to control/reduce costs in line with budgetary requirements * Identifying areas for improvement in co-operation with the Branch Managers and Branch Operations Managers * Ensures all locations are trained on procedures and all Company processes implemented and followed. * Ensures compliance with Company policies and/or guidelines, ensures maintenance of layouts of counters and warehouses, taking into consideration productivity, inventory turnover and other relevant factors. * Ensures implementation of accurate customer service measurement criteria and takes proper action to ensure compliance with customer service standards; ensures that internal business controls are in place to ensure compliance with goals. * Ensures all locations are trained and follow company health & safety policies and procedures * Evaluating inventory levels to maximize turns while maintaining exceptional service levels; actively participating in the annual inventory process * Managing logistical projects such as branch relocations * Other responsibilities as allocated Skills Required : * The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with numbers. * He/she must have a strong sales background and experience managing a sales team. * He/she must have strong analytical skills combined with the ability to logically resolve discrepancies and find innovative resolutions. * Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment to provide leadership and give hands-on support whenever required. * You possess strong organizational skills and are able to multi-task within a dynamic environment. * Your success in this position will depend on your ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers as well as your ability to inspire and lead towards strong performance levels. * Ability to travel the region on a regular basis and occasionally travel nationally/internationally. Applicants for this position should have the following qualifications: * A minimum of 10 years of sales experience * A minimum of 5 years of experience in an operation/management role * Minimum College Business or Operations Diploma (or equivalent) * A good understanding/strong computer skills. * Demonstrated leadership abilities * A positive attitude and results driven mindset and must be self-motivated and able to work independently. * Strong planning, analytical, organizational, decision making and time management skills.
